"There are so many elements we cannot see that create what we feel. We may focus only on the woman, the lift of her arm, the shape of her mouth, the way sand has clung to her ankles. In the end she is the one who tells the story of the elements we cannot see. The wind’s fingers in her hair. The salt in the air, the way she blinks against it. The sun, hot and high overhead. We cannot see these things, only the woman. And sometimes, we notice that there is fabric, just fabric".
